Immutable Expands Immutable Play to Web2 Studios with Ubisoft as First Partner

Immutable, a leader in blockchain gaming infrastructure, has opened its growth platform Immutable Play to traditional Web2 game studios. Ubisoft will be the first major partner to integrate crypto rewards for players through the platform. This marks a strategic push to bridge mainstream gaming with blockchain incentives.

The expansion follows a year of rapid growth for Immutable Play, which now boasts 5.6 million wallets and hosts approximately 660 games—representing 70% of the Web3 gaming market. The partnership builds on existing collaboration between Immutable and Ubisoft on the Might & Magic franchise.

By welcoming Web2 studios, Immutable positions itself as the first platform enabling traditional game developers to offer crypto-native experiences at scale. The MOVE signals broader institutional adoption of blockchain technology in gaming.
